Euroconsult Honors Outstanding Achievement with 11th Annual Awards for Excellence in Satellite Communications

Industry pays tribute to winners at World Satellite Business Week in Paris

Winners are chosen by a panel of industry experts from Euroconsult, SpaceNews and SatelliteFinance who assess candidates using rigorous qualitative1 and quantitative2 criteria.

Gazprom Space Systems, Dmitry Sevastiyanov, Director General
“Gazprom Space Systems is a Russian satellite operator. Its orbital constellation consists of three Yamal satellites and covers the biggest part of the Eastern Hemisphere. Also the company has a wide ground infrastructure in Russia. Thanks to commissioning of the new satellites Yamal 300К and Yamal-402 Gazprom Space Systems expanded the geography of business, entering the African market and increasing the presence in the Middle East. The revenue of the company in 2013 grew by 29%. The next Yamal-401 satellite will be launched this year.”

Newcomer Satellite Operator of the Year

Es’hailSat, Ali Al Kuwari, CEO

Having launched Es’hail 1 just over one year ago, the satellite is very much in demand and is currently transmitting channel bouquets for premium broadcasters such as Al Jazeera and beIN Sports.
